Hey,
I was dragged to see Fame with one of my friends as a way to pay her back for seeing D-9 with me last week. I was pleasantly surprised, and must say was taken aback by how talented you all are. As a dancer, myself, I was able to relate to the stories, work ethic, etc. Great job with your character, you showed depth and maturity. I think this performance will catapolt you in the acting industry. What I really wanted to say, is that I’m a fellow Virginian (fairfax as well), that lives in NYC. It’s easy to let fame, fortune, success get to your head. Keep you head together and remember to strive to be a performing artist that knows that he / she has significant influence and power over many people. By understanding this, you can be not just an actor but someone that is able to change and impact society in a small way. Artists such as Bono, Jolie, Clooney, and Pitt come to mind. Goodluck to you and I hope that our paths cross at some point. I was compelled to reach out to you as not a fan, but as someone that recognized an individual that has the capacity to be a positive influence. Surround yourself with good people and don’t let that money get too much to your head. Would love to hear back from you. Best, J
